Epic Hiatus

Yes, indeed. These cartoons will continue when I have the time. For now, it's school, family, and Flash cartoons.

Priorities...

Hello. As you may guess, I am busy this June and July with Flash projects again.

I may work on these here and there, but chances are you won't see anything completed until August. August is the month I am devoting completely to Fred and Luigi.

So stay tuned. You never know what might happen.

"Kill Off Allen" and "Are Old" Merged

Hey. If you remember right, the last two episodes of Fred and Luigi were supposed to be Fred and Luigi Finally Kill Off Allen and Fred and Luigi Are Old. Well, I have decided to merge both of these things and make it into one big thing...

Fred and Luigi: The Finale.

Coming this August, after Six Flags this May and Visit the Sewers and Light Off Fireworks this June.

I wanted to work on Six Flags this past weekend but other things have popped up.

I wanted to actually release it on the 18th. Really.

Another Fred and Luigi Update

Hello. Next week I plan to animate a little more with Go To Six Flags. I will post more screenshots. April 18th. You know...

Also, Visit The Sewers and this other episode you don't know much about... Light Off Fireworks will both release this summer now. I plan to get them done in June and August respectively.


I'll check back here in a couple weeks.

April 18th? Yes. May 2nd? Probably not...

As you may know, there was a plan to get two episodes done and released on April 18th and May 2nd, respectively.

Six Flags' date has stayed the same. I will definately have the time to get it done by then. April 18th.

Visit The Sewers, however, will probably be delayed. Because during April and early May I will be much busy with two Flash projects, Fugleman and Those Fat Americans.

All I am saying is don't expect me to get that one done by May 2nd. I would hope to see it in the summer sometime, but not early May.

I have been writing and re-writing some things, and I am glad to say the scripts for Go To Six Flags and Visit The Sewers are complete.

I do have a release date for both, but believe me, I'm not too good with release dates. I usually end up releasing them differently, but here you go.

Announcing the END of Fred and Luigi

Chill, I'm not ending it at this moment.

My Fred and Luigi series has been going steady since 2004. 30+ full length episodes separated into 4 seasons! But as of late, this series has been moving slooooooooooooooooowly.

So, I'm deciding to cutting it short of what I was originally going to plan.

BUT, I am still in production of 4 EPISODES and a FINALE to be released.

So don't worry, you have five more hilarious F&L cartoons to look forward to.

And you can hold my word on two of them being released this late Spring.

Well, at least one ;-)







Also,

Of course, Fred and Luigi: The Movie is canceled and I still want to make a DVD somehow whenever I finish these last five episodes.

Official Release Dates n Stuff

Well, first off I had no idea this Cory: An Hero project was going to be so time consuming. Sorry for all the um, DELAYING, but that Flash series is more important to me right now.

Okay, I am announcing when Six Flags and Visit the Sewers are releasing.

Both will be released between March-May 2009.

The Six Flags episode is by far the hardest Fred and Luigi cartoon to make. There is so much detail that has to go in it.

But they will BOTH be here next Spring.

I'll keep you updated whenever news comes in blah blah blah

I've Been Thinking...

about putting together a Fred and Luigi DVD somehow. It is a fantasy that is oh so distant, but one day I plan to release one. Yeah, whatever.

In other news:

Fred and Luigi Go To Six Flags in slow production still. After I finish another Flash project in December I will focus on this episode as well as "Fred and Luigi Visit The Sewers" which its script is written as well.

Fred and Luigi: The Movie being thought over. I might try to animate it in Flash and see how it turns out. If not, I may just make it in PowerPoint or just... FREAKING cancel it :P

I have been very busy lately.
Them Dirty Mexicans, a flash cartoon, is taking up all my time with animating right now.
So, this episode will probably be postponed a month or two.

New Episodes in the Works

Currently in the world of Fred and Luigi...
Fred has a lot of plans for summer vacation, but before anything happens, Luigi goes away for the summer. Can Fred find anything to do? Not really...

Yep, I am making a prologue episode that will lead to the events of "Fred and Luigi Go To Six Flags". What this basically means is that I'm making like a prequel to the next episode, something I have never done before.

I will have it done in a few weeks. After that, it is on to the Six Flags episode!

New Episode This September

Fred and Luigi Go To Six Flags is written.

I think its pretty funny. It really pokes fun at theme park food, ride regulations, and that "severed feet" incident that happened last summer at a real Six Flags.

I'll tell you when I start animating. Look for it this September.

Come One, Come All!

All right. Either you know what Fred and Luigi is and have seen it OR you don't know what the heck I'm talking about.

If you already know, go ahead and see what's new in the cartoon world of Fred Fredderson and Luigi Luigston.

If you don't, lemme explain. Have a seat. You must read this.


So, in Health class 6th grade (I know, lolololololol) in 2004 our teacher showed us how to make the "autoshapes" in Microsoft PowerPoint into beings and objects and people and whatnot. And you had to make a little cartoon involving autoshape people in safety situations. She gave people topics. I got the topic "poison safety". So, soon enough, I created a couple of characters and thus creating episode 1, "Fred Chugs Lysol". The cartoon was about a hyper-type of kid named "Fred" and how he asked his best friend, Luigi, if he wanted to watch him "chug" Lysol spray. Luigi, however, is a rather wise dude and he encouraged Fred NOT to drink it. Fred drinks it and he dies, and Luigi tells the viewer not to poison theirselves.
Cheesy? Maybe.
So... after a while I wanted to make more episodes about Fred acting like a retard and Luigi trying to stop him. As the episodes progressed, more characters were introduced, personalities were getting stronger, and the episodes lengthened. Soon enough, it was like watching a movie rather than a slideshow. And Fred was not dying in every episode. There was actually more stuff going on.
By summer 2006 my F & L episodes were becoming a "neighborhood favorite" and now in 2008 I want to share them with YOU! YAY!
Yeah, it is pretty weird that I STILL use PowerPoint for these animations. Believe me, I tried doing them in Macromedia Flash, but it is not the same. Like, it seems more hilarious with choppy-esque animation.
